Prospective Students

The ARISE Lab is seeking hardworking, creative, and independent student researchers with interests in human-robot interaction, applied artificial intelligence, and/or mixed reality interfaces.

If you are currently enrolled at DU as an undergraduate or graduate student and would like to learn more about research opportunities in the ARISE Lab, please contact ARISE Lab director Christopher Reardon.

Please include:

  • Your enrollment status (enrolled/not enrolled and degree program)
  • A copy of your CV or resume
  • A copy of your relevant transcripts
  • A description of your research experience, if any
  • A description of your research interests, and a brief justification of why you think the ARISE Lab is a good fit for your interests
  • A list of fellowships/scholarships that you have won/applied for, if any
  • A copy of a paper or project write-up that you authored to help assess your writing ability

If you are not currently enrolled at DU, you should first apply to the CS graduate program and put Dr. Reardon as a potential advisor to ensure he is a reviewer for your application.  Please note that due to the large volume of emails received, Dr. Reardon cannot respond to unsolicited emails from non-DU students.
